Biography
Pieter Imhof holds degrees in chemistry and economics, and has a Ph.D. in organometallic chemistry from the University of Amsterdam. Pieter has held various management positions in Research & Development, Technical Service, Marketing and Product Development, both at Akzo Nobel and Albemarle. In 2005 he became responsible for Business Development, Sales & Marketing and Strategic Account Management at Avantium. In 2017 Pieter joined BioBTX as CEO, mainly oriented at commercialization of BioBTX’ Integrated Cascading Catalytic pyrolysis technology for the production of aromatics from biomass and end-of-life materials.
